So in the uk (idk how it works in other places) we get our braces for free
Well i managed to throw away that chance. When i was 13 i got a dentist appointment where they recommended me to an orthodontist for braces, finally at 14 id got an appointment with the orthodontist where they took me in and talked about giving me braces. So i would have had them in till i was 18 i cant remember exactly what braces they where going to give me but i rejected them. I dont know if i regret it or not.
On one hand my train of thought at the time was “if these where naturally how my teeth are why change them and the orthodontist said they arent even that bad”
And on the other hand now i think that i could have avoided a few issues i face now with some crowding on my lower set.
Still its not too late to go back and ask since im still 16.

Ask for them if you don’t feel comfortable with how your teeth look , I had pretty straight teeth and I still got them and happy about it , I was with them for a year and my self esteem definitely improved

I honestly dont mind how my top row of teeth look but my lower row are annoying and if i go back they might make me do braces on both
