Serious braids or no ?

i wanna get braids like picrels while my hair recovers from heat/bleach damage. then every 3-4 months do a trim. is this the move? my forehead is lowk big tho and ppl always assume i am indian or mexican for some reason even though i am mixed so im worried ppl will be weird abt it (im black and armenian)

Everybody looks good in goddess braids, but make sure to take care it even while it’s braided. You do need to wash and keep your hair moisturized. How often you need to do it really depends on your hair type. Since your hair is damaged, look into a bond repair product. Keep in mind that hair usually only grows a maximum amount of 6 inches per year, so you don’t want to cut off too much during each trim. It would be good to get rid of most of the damaged hair though.

I think you should cut off the damage as new hair grows in. I wish I did that instead of cutting it all off.

braids or imo a wig. girls use wigs with bangs all the time to cover their big forehead. also helps with heat and bleach damage. requires less manipulation than braids.
