Fasting in general isn’t optimal,yes once for 24 hours could potentially improve gut health but fasting is literally such a scam.
But during puberty you should always should be in a 5%-10% surplus,you won’t get fat anyways.
The goal is to hit as many micronutrients as you can,don’t restrict any nutrition during puberty.
