Bulking fucking sucks

I need to eat 3500 calories just to barely gain weight and it’s fucking up my GERD and I can barely get through the day. Always feeling bloated and unable to move
I haven't eaten much in 3 days
 
I dirty bulked 40 lbs and lost it as soon as I didn’t need to bulk anymore for football. I was so bloated but happy
 
How much of it was muscle you’d say?

I hope so

Yeah I’m gonna have to learn how to do this
It was over the span of 2 years so maybe 10 lbs realistically at max not factoring in change in metabolism and puberty

i used to hate bulking

just get like 2 bananas,6 creamy/watery peanut butter scoops, 1 cup milk

Thats already 900 cals

One in the morning and one at night and fill the rest of the day in with light-medium sized meals that are heavy in cals
 
For me i just think if i know what im eatings good and i know im training hard im easily putting on muscle and im around 11% bf anyway so my body doesnt crave as much food

Calories ain’t the issue, macros are. I could easily hit my calorie goal at the expense of carbs for fats, but carbs are so important that I can’t disregard them

Ngl i dont even bother with macros just focus on protien and cals

Lots of quick digesting pre and post workout carbs. The carbs are giving me hell because I keep my fats low which means I have to eat more total food to reach my calorie goal

Well it was like 10 lbs the first year then 30 the 2nd so I wouldn’t say it was linear

My dad only cared about it bc of football. He was right, I would’ve gotten more offers if I weighed just a little more. My grandma is the one who actually force feeds me though
