i have grown out highlights and naturally medium/light brown hair. I have an appointment soon to fix it, and I intend on going darker. I'm not sure if jet black would suit me but i was thinking maybe something like this i also plan on getting extensions

You should try, at least to hide your dark circles and improve your looks, until you find a soft/hardmaxxing way to get rid of the dark circles. I assume there lot of different goth make-up styles

Both black and brown hair is hot, anyway it’s less of your hair.

Focus on your colouring, redder and more brightened skin.

Also find a way to reduce your scleral show, if the surroundings of your eyes are naturally dark then use hydroquinone. Those are the easiest things you can do as of now
