My current bench is 285 and I have like 9 months but I heard the road from 275 to 315 is way harder than 225 to 275. Thoughts?

I was getting close to a 3 plate bench natty before, I stuck with training for 4 months consistent and the weight showed little sign of slowing down and it just got too hard so I stopped, I want to have somewhat of a normal life lol, I couldnt when my life revolved around regular meals, regular sleep, low stress and consistent training, I weighed almost as much as the weight I was benching when I stopped.Yeah recently I’ve been getting stronger and leaner at the same time I think because I’m young but that will probably stop when I hit the 300 mark

207 isnt horrible, I was 265 when I stopped training hard, it wasnt worth it, i had no goals of going anywhere with it so i stopped making it top priority, with eating and sleeping and everything its like a part time job.
