your actual mandible doesn't look very rescessed, more over your chin but you could temperately suffice with bone smashing it

You're not recessed and no, mewing doesn't fix recession as the cause of most lower jaw recessions is skeletal, meaning the only way to truly fix it is surgery

Okay thanks bro, could implants or fillers also work as i dont think i can save enough for surgery yet, i also read that a herbst appliance may help

first of all ur not recessed
no mewing wont help even at 14
u can try a reverse pull face mask provided by a orthodontists but i doubt it will give you the growth your for

nothing beside chew food would help

Ive got braces currently so ill try to ask for something for my jaw
If you could confirm us if you have a deep bite, or an overjet (according to your ortho diagnosis) + teeth pictures on a closed position (bitting), that shall clarify much.
Your upper maxila and ogg curve seem to have an excelent profile (pics with better lightning and 3/4 profile would help to confirm that). In principle it doesnt look like you might need any protraction (reverse pull facemask), my guessing would be some kind of Class II maloclussion that might be forcing a posture of the lower jaw backwards.
Additionally it would be good to know if your palate is narrow and high, or with a top flat plateau, just to understand that plane too (on the lateral pics can't see it).

About the Herbst: it is to be used only during growth sprouts, otherwise the orthopedic outcome (lower jaw displacement) will recede. But if you are complaint with Class II elastics (assuming you got a Class II) that could suffice. But, again, without good photos of your teeth that is all what I can say.

PS. Don't do "bone-smashing" or any of those esoteric-trendy ideas, the risk of harm is high and the odds of a positive result are not worth it.

Cheers!
