I think my only real problem I have with my face is that I have a somewhat recessed chin.

In most photos it isn't so bad but if I'm looking straight to the side it looks embarrassing asf

I'm gonna start saving up for surgery when I turn 18 but for the meantime I just need to cope

Someone told me to wait till I finish puberty to actually consider surgery. It'd be a miracle if my recession somehow just goes away/gets better in the coming years, but I don't think that is going to happen.

Hmm... I think what they mean is that even though it's unlikely to just go away, it is usually just best to wait before being super set on surgery so you can see how your face fully develops, changes can happen. But I get what you mean 100%

but if I end up catching a reflection or photo of myself looking straight to the side its always so jarring
