cocoa fruit pulp is sweet, tangy, and distinctly tropical, bearing no resemblance to the bitter taste of chocolate. The white pulp surrounding the raw beans tastes like a blend of lychee, mango, pineapple, and citrus.
 
Technically you could make something that tastes like chocolate 0 calories with food printing and other technologies. Saying “muh it’s not chocolate if it doesn’t have cacao “ is dumb as that was clearly not my point.

Technically yes, as I said you can make anything 0 calories by using molecules that can’t be degraded by human enzymes. I think the brand halo top used this principle to make 300cal per tub ice cream.

idk it would seem hard to mimic the structure of chocolate with non-digestible materials while containing properties but I can see the vision.

I think we can get there soon. I have tasted lab made meat and the texture was very similar. I think chocolate could be made some day.
