Understanding facial contrasts and general colouring!
The best way to understand contrast as a whole is the difference in your looks, within your hair, skin,
eyes and lashes.
High contrast = overall better look
Low contrast = less striking, more "normal-ish" look
where contrast can matter and can be a huge difference
Blondes and gingers, especially, struggle within this category because many people with these colours
have light eyebrows and pale skin, making it hard to see the person's eyebrows, which can look slightly off-putting and or weird.
HOWEVER! too much contrast can create an unnatural and or uncanny look!
such as too dark a colour on a pale or more fair skin tone, making it a little off-putting
Positives of high contrast
  • sharper
  • more dramatic
  • more masculine on men
  • more striking or glamorous on women
EYEBROWS
eyebrows will be put into two distinct parts
  • GROWTH
  • COLOUR
These will both help drastically with colouring and can make or break a face, and are a major flaw for the majority of people trying to get a little boost in their looks.
and don't want to try anything major just yet.
growth
To help with growth, there are many things you can do to optimise the shape and overall look of your eyebrows
minoxidil 10% vs 5% (for eyebrows)
Minoxidil for eyebrows can overall reduce the risk of irritation and unwanted overgrowth within the eyebrows
5% will be more effective within the application and acquisition, due to 10% being considered "off-label"
for eyebrows, as there are fewer tests and a larger risk of carrying side effects.
(generally try 5% and then switch to 10% if growth and progress are taking too long)
colouring
a common practice to improve colouring can be to dye
rule of thumb for dye
  • 1 shade darker (a brownish shade) for blondes and gingers
  • same shade as hair for brunettes
  • for black have a slightly softer black
brands to use!
  • syoss
  • l'oreal
  • eylure
this is word of mouth just find what works for u
ways to fraud eyebrows:
  • vaseline on them to make a darker tint
  • hair gel again for a dark tint

Lashes

Dark lashes increase:

  • eye depth
  • limbal ring perception
  • eye size illusion

Best methods:

  • lash tint
  • castor oil
  • peptide lash serums

Avoid overlong feminine lashes if aiming for masculine aesthetics.

Melanotan II (MT2) is a synthetic peptide that mimics the action of alpha-melanocyte-stimulating hormone (α-MSH), a natural hormone involved in:
  • melanin production
  • skin pigmentation
  • appetite signalling
  • sexual arousal pathways
main effects:
primary effects: tanning duh
MT2 stimulates melanocortin receptors especially MC1R which increases melanin synthesis within the skin
MT2 can also darken freckles moles and other pigmented areas
MT2 also has some effects on reduced hunger and earlier fullness
Side effeects:
  • libido
  • spontaneous erections
  • sexual arousal
this occurs as melanocortin signalling also affects parts of the nervous system involved in sexual function
(close relative of bremelanotide)

Shouldve added examples of low high contrast, also castor oil has been shown in studies to not cause hair growth
I think rosemary is cope too but ill have to look up some studies rq bc ur source says it’s as effective as minox
U shouldve included oral minox too
You also forgot to add contacts section and skin lightening section

6/10 guide
