I mean, you're losing a person forever
its worse they dont even exist anymore its like personally its so unimaginable to think theyre not gonna live anymore, theyre just gone forever
I cant truly put it into words, I mean I guess it depends on how close they were

What makes it different for me is like, when I would usually part ways with someone forever (ie you could say same as someone dying in my pov) I would still imagine them living life in whatever way

I don't know if i was able to put my prespective into words correctly

I understand. I just have never cared, and I guess my perspective on death it that you can lose anyone at anytime anyway, they're not suffering anymore, they don't feel anything. Death is essential for creation and therefore just as beautiful. The only reason people get sad over death is because they can't help but get caught up in their own thoughts

In a selfish way its also that you would never even have a possiblity of seeing them again, I guess its better for them but you need to live your whole life now without even seeing them again.
Most people in losing people in relationships if they din't want to would cope by thinking they're gonna come back or so, but death just removes this possiblity

I was happier when my mother died in a sudden heart attack than being hospitalized and bed ridden for life
my mother's family have a heart disease history so it was bound to happen

Me too tbh specially if old people die, i can maybe be sad if young people die but in general i can't cry since there is no chance in stopping death, i would cry in situations where something can be changed or different when it's not in that moment.

I can kinda relate, I often get called cold or heartless cause I learned to stop caring and not affect me. I have a really bad relationship with my parents and don’t like them and so when I was still living with them, whenever they were in pain I genuinely couldn’t feel anything, except annoyance for when it would get in the way of something I wanted. If they died I don’t think I would be devastated. But it didn’t come naturally, it was more of a defense mechanism I adopted over time very well

Same to be honest, i have a horrible relationship with both of them. I don't know what id do if my grandmother dies i havent seen her for years but shes still the person I love the most.

I guess it depends on the person
 

I hate when people die​


Not because I have some kind of idk denial of death, or I miss them. Not to sound edgy because this entirely isn't, but I've never cared when anyone died ever since I was a kid. Now I have that natural reaction + the acceptance of death as a concept.

I just don't like the way people react to it. Everyone else cares and I don't, I'm expected to care. I just wanna get on with life as normal and everyone becomes a liability, useless and depressed, holding me back.

People try using the “oh but they’re still your family” line on me but it never works. I just can’t bring myself to have sympathy for someone who’s hurt you and never gave a damn. My ability to just turn it off like that seems rare from what I’ve heard from other people

As for your grandma, depending on how old she is too, try to see her again or talk to her atleast because it would be a shame if something suddenly happened to her and then you’re gonna just be left with regret you didn’t reach out. And that regret coupled with grief hurts even more

Yeah I relate, I often get told despite what happened with my dad 'hes still my dad', but I geniunly cannot bring myself to talk to him. I don't feel like hes my dad in any sort of way. As per my mom, I still don't know I mean sometimes she really switches up its hard for me to know what to do that moment

Shes like 65 or so, but shes very physically weak so its inevitable
