i want to hear a niche opinion u got and i will certiainly devate u on it
Growing older i've realised that exercises like : reverse curls (fat grips), upright rows, rings face pulls & snatch grip high pulls, will gives better results for an aesthetic body than more mainstream exercises

Can't debate u there cos I actually agree with u

These exercises target specific muscle groups and promote functional strength, leading to a more balanced and aesthetic physique. They engage more stabilizing muscles and improve posture, which give way more more comprehensive approach to building an aesthetically pleasing body compared to mainstream lifts

perfect ill debate this

i disagree cause u would be better off isolating in these situations

for example someone like me with massive traps but tiny shoulders should never do upright rows

Upright rows with a large grip doesn't target upper traps, same with high pulls, it's targeting the mid/lower traps
Ring facepulls target the sidedelts as well with a larger grip than the conventional rope one

Biomechanically, the function of each muscle should be isolated for maximal hypertrophy.

For example, with upright rows, if performed perfectly, you could argue that they reduce trap involvement and emphasize the delts more. However, this doesn’t change the fact that a lateral raise, which maintains constant tension on the side delts, would target them more effectively. Why? Because upright rows engage multiple muscles, which reduces the central nervous system’s ability to recruit as many motor units as possible for the side delts.

The same principle applies to every muscle and the exercises you listed.

A situation where these exercises could be beneficial is if you don’t prioritize trap growth but still want some stimulation. However, this approach may lead to worse development of both the traps and delts compared to isolating them properly.

you would be better off doing a lateral raise, rear delt fly, high row to actually isolate these muscles
