Do I need genioplasty?

My bad for the shitty ass pictures. I’m looking to get genio soon but I’m worried it’s not what I need and if I need some other surgery to fix it. I’m turning 17 soon btw. Not sure if I need actual fucking jaw surgery like bsso or something or maybe just chin implants rather then genio. My posture looks like shit in the side profile pictures and I realize but I kid you not I’m trying to stand as straight as I can and I’ve been trying to work on it. I don’t have an overbite even though it looks like it. I wore elastics for alignment for a while like a dumbass and it’s what got my chin to look even more recessed to this point

In my eyes (because I’m not able to identify the problem with my face well) it seems to me as I just look recessed either in my mandible or chin or both which is why I thought I just needed genio to fix it all at first. Your jaw is downgrown and a high gonial angle is considered to be a big failo by most ppl. Your mandible recession can't really be fixed by genio. It can help a bit, but you need to pull the jaw forward through surgery to actually fix it.
