My thinking was i was thinking about pillow cases because in no longer human by Osamu Dazai pillow cases are a focal point in the beginning he talks about pillow cases because he thought why must everything in the world have meaning and he believed that pillow cases had no value they were just something we did which was why he cherished them however after he found out they were to keep the pillow clean he threw them away from his mind, next i thought of dreams because i mean i was laying in my bed while writing it and i was thinking about the idea of how your dreams affect the real world so i was thinking the wandering mind served as your dreams staining your pillow then mom cleans it up because she loves you and the idea of drool came after when i thought of something tangible that could stain a pillow after sleeping or having a wandering mind my friend came up with the idea that like it was a story of taking care of your ill mother but idk it depends on how you interpret it
