Something I like to do which made me see more results than just starving is:
Big breakfast & Big dinner.
First, get your goal weight in pounds and multiply it by 12.
Example: 143 pounds x 12 = 1,716
That’s your calories for the day
Then, take that weight again and multiply by 0.7
Example: 143 pounds x 0.7 = 100.1
That’s your protein goal
The thing is that if you prepare your breakfast and dinner in advance for the next day, you don’t have to worry about what you have to eat and its macros on the spot. The day before, I get:
•3 Slices of whole grain bread
•Any kind of deli or high protein meat of preference
•Eggs, extra vitamin ones with deep orange yolks
•Protein yogurt cups, usually 2x
And I got my breakfast there. it’s around 1,000 calories and 80g of protein, big breakfast but gets you going through the day.
And for dinner, I just get maybe 250g of beef chuck steak and air fry it and season it a bit, maybe with a bit of butter and such. And with that, I hit my protein goal of around 130g, and I have some wiggle room for a small treat.
I eat from 6-7 AM, fast for the rest of the day drinking water and zero calorie stuff and eat my dinner at 3 PM. I’ve been doing this for months, and I started doing this almost accidentally since my school had horrible caloric lunch so I would just wait until school was over to eat.
Of course, some people may say that you need a better diet with Whole Foods, primal foods and other bullshit but… 9/10, it’s really expensive or unsustainable for most. I’m not stopping you, I’m just saying it’s pretty risky.
Overall, you can try this “vanilla” and “mainstream” way of losing weight slowly whilst maintaining muscle (Which is a GREAT way to prevent being skinny fat) if you pair it with weight lifting, it’s all up to you. The best way to lose weight is if you make it something that’s part of your routine and not something that makes you miserable, like a military slave.
