I just want to warn you about it, i did take high doses and it made me infertile (i hope its just temporary), messed up by hormones and had months of the most irregular periods ever, i did notice that my skin became less oily and cleared up a bit but other than that it did me more harm than good not worth it at all i also somehow noticed a visible change in my gym gains i looked into it later and founds out estrogen is for some reason linked to muscle mass but overall pls talk to a qualified healthcare professional before taking any hormones.

Isn’t birth control the same thing

It's a cruel joke exogenous hormones benefit men but mess-up women

Well many birth control pills contain estrogen bbut theyre specifically formulated with small doses of estrogen to temporarily prevent pregnancy while youre taking them. Thats very different from taking high doses of estrogen on your own thats why i said to always consult a professional. And even birth control can mess hormones up as much

what were u thinking

Damn, why'd you do that? Hope everything goes back to normal. Hormones aren't something to mess with. If you're already a woman with normal estrogen levels, taking more won't suddenly make you look more feminine the way testosterone can make men more masculine—it mostly just increases the risk of side effects. And if you're on SSRIs too, weight changes can become even more of a pain. Just be careful with that stuff fr.

Right. It just doesnt make sense to me
probably bc there isnt enough research and their excuse is “womens bodies are too complex” which is true but should mean theres more research its stupid

ok well dont take high doses, keep track and do blood tests. yes most people should talk to a qualified healthcare professional but also this was like pretty risky not to be rude or anything sorry you went thru that though
