The guide that you see below applies to Eyesight Maxxing – improvement of functional vision/eyesight when it got compromised due to some reasons (such as myopia or other problems linked to the strain), but not the aesthetic maxxing of your eyes area, such as hunter eyes, positive canthal tilt, UEE, etc. In other words, we speak about refractive errors here. This isn’t medical advice. Talk to your ophthalmologist/optometrist first before doing anything. Natural maxxing techniques aren’t proven much. They will hardly solve structural problems such as axial myopia. Surgeries/peptides are risky..

These methods are considered lower-level strategies. The goal is to prevent further decline (particularly in younger males) as well as promoting good eye health. According to the scientific literature, they will not completely cure high myopia (since eyeball elongation is a structural problem), although many anons claim to experience relief from strain and slowing of progression with regular use.

1. Diet & Supps for Eye Health

  • Load up on lutein/zeaxanthin (spinach, kale, eggs), Vitamin A (carrots, sweet potatoes), C/E (citrus, nuts), zinc, omega-3s (fish, flax). These support retina/macula and fight oxidative stress.
  • Stay hydrated — dry eyes kill vision quality.
  • Avoid junk; manage blood sugar (chronic conditions like diabetes wreck eyes).
2. Reduce Strain & Screen Death (20/20/20 Rule + More)

  • Every 20 min close work, look 20+ feet away for 20 sec.
  • Blink more (screens make you stare like a zombie).
  • Proper lighting, reduce glare. Get outside 2+ hours/day for natural light — helps slow myopia progression big time (especially kids/teens).
  • Limit close-up time; "print pushing" or active focus methods (from endmyopia-style communities) — read at the edge of blur with weaker lenses sometimes.
3. Eye Exercises / Relaxation (Bates-Inspired or Vision Therapy)

  • Palming: Rub hands warm, cup over closed eyes, relax in darkness 5-10+ min.
  • Swinging: Sway side to side while focusing on distant objects to relax accommodation.
  • Blinking & Sunning: Gentle blinks, safe natural light exposure (not direct staring).
  • Central fixation, shifting focus near/far.
  • Some report diopter reductions over months/years with dedication (e.g., -0.5 to -1+), but evidence is mixed/anecdotal — mainstream calls Bates controversial/ineffective for true reversal. Use as strain relief.
4. Lifestyle

  • Sleep 7-9 hours (eyes recover).
  • No smoking.
  • Exercise (good circulation).
  • Proper posture/ergonomics (forward head kills eye strain).
  • Get regular eye exams — track your diopters.

Consistency is key. Many on myopia forums (r/myopia, endmyopia) combine this with reduced lens use for slow gains. Don't ditch glasses cold turkey if you need them.

When natural methods aren't enough and blurry vision is still ruining your life (can't drive, can't see shit clearly, constant strain), it's time to escalate.

Refractive Surgeries (The Big Ones)

  • LASIK: Flap created, laser reshapes cornea. Fast recovery (1-2 days), great for myopia/astigmatism. Gold standard but flap risks (dislodgement, ectasia).
  • PRK: No flap — surface ablation. Better for thin corneas/sports, but longer recovery (pain, haze possible, weeks-months).
  • SMILE: Flapless, lenticule extraction via small incision. Less dry eye, good biomechanics, minimally invasive. Popular now for suitable candidates.
Risks (All of Them):
-Dry eyes (very common, sometimes permanent),
-Halos/glare/night vision problems,
-Incorrect/Light/Heavy Correction (enhancement required)
-Infection, Regression. Serious rare complications such as vision loss.
Not for Everyone (high prescriptions, thin corneas, unstable Rx).
Ideal ages are 18-40 years old, stable prescription 1 year+.

Other options: ICL (implantable lens) for high myopia, refractive lens exchange (older patients).

Peptides & Regen (Emerging Hardmaxx)
  • BPC-157: Tissue repair, anti-inflammatory, potential for retinal/vascular support.
  • Epithalon: Retinal protection, cell lifespan.
  • GHK-Cu: Collagen, microcirculation, regeneration.
  • Others: Semax/Cortagen (neuro/visual), Elamipretide/SS-31 (mitochondrial, age-related decline). Eye drops or systemic.
Do extensive research, proper referencing (research on chems), and doctor’s guidance. Evidence animal-based/early; Not proved to be eye-cure medicines. Can help post-surgery or during degeneration.

Harder Alternative Solutions: Ortho-K (overnight contact lens treatment), atropine eye drops.

lasik is so risky no?

lasik is so risky no?
lasik is generally safe with high satisfaction rates for suitable candidates, but like any surgery it has risks (dry eyes, halos, night vision issues, rare complications)
