I am Christian but I have huge respect for Islam so I will be fasting throughout Ramadan(except on my period) with my Muslim friends and will post before and after when its over. Also I have been breaking out and extra bloated recently maybe because hormones but I wonder how fasting this much will change my face. This will be my first time fasting this intensely wish me luck

Jesus said to not bid the unbeliever God speed in his doctrine. By fasting with them you are partaking in evil.

2 John 10-11

"If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed:

For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds."

God calls His people to be separate. Fasting is good but you should do it for God either by yourself or with people who worship Him in truth.

I know it may be sin but I am tired of seeing such hate and separation in this world. That is the true evil 1 John 2 11 and 1 Corinthians 12 13

Islam is cope.
Shaming other people beliefs and values is cope. Christianity is filled with such hate and disgust for others despite what the bible even says. Anybody can say they are Christian and go out in the world and molest children which is extremely common in a Church environment(at least in America) and there’s so much “Church Drama” which I believe is so immature and disrespectful in the house of god. However, when me and my Father visited a Muslim country they treated us with much respect and we literally just knocked on a strangers door and asked if we could spend the night with them and they said yes and were extremely kind and respectful. In fact it was like that for every house we knocked on and yes they were all strictly Muslim. Very disciplined and open minded which I always believed was important. And yet if these people were to come to a mostly Christian country would they be welcomed? That’s something that’ll practically never happen if you knock on a Christian household. I know Islam isn’t perfect, no religion is and there are some people of Islam who would probably disregard me for my beliefs but not as much as a “Christian” would disregard someone else of different beliefs EDIT: also the true values of the bible are lost or ignored. It is so modernly edited people just add a new entire verse with completely different meaning examples: 1 Corinthians 14:33-35, Leviticus 18-22 the famous anti gay verse was literally completely changed from the original in 1946 and the word arsenokoitai wasn’t translated to mean homosexual until 1946 (not saying being gay is holy in any way but the bible genuinely had a whole different meaning for that word and verse and now it’s just washed away by people who believe they are holy and in the right to change the holy text?? I will never support that “ You shall not add to the word which I command you, nor take from it, that you may keep the commandments of the LORD your God which I command you. “

Separation is not evil. Jesus said that he didn't come to bring peace but division.

Matthew 10: 34-35

"Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.

For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law."

Do you know what it means to be a Christian? Are you really a Christian?

Jesus said that he will say to many that they are neither hot nor cold and he wishes they were. But because they are lukewarm he will spew them from his mouth. (Revelation 3:15-16)

The thing about Islam is it's wrong, and bringing people to hell. Just like any other false belief. Jesus said he is the only way.

Leviticus 18 - 22

"Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination.

Neither shalt thou lie with any beast to defile thyself therewith: neither shall any woman stand before a beast to lie down thereto: it is confusion." (The date of this translation is 1611)

Leviticus was not part of an Old Testament book that had been crushed by Jesus?. And why islam is a false belief ans Christianity the way?

No, the old testament wasn't crushed by Jesus.

Matthew 5: 17-18

"Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.

For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled."

Jesus said he is the only way.

Islam cannot be the the way. Muslims believe that the Bible is the word of God, the Torah (Old Testament) and the New Testament. They also believe their Quran is the word of God. But their Quran denies Jesus is the son of God, along with many other discrepancies. If you ask them why their are discrepancies between the Bible and their Quran they'll tell you that the Bible is corrupted. But their Quran says the word of god cannot be corrupted. So Islam defeats itself.

This is gonna be a funny one.

He destroyed the old covenant by creating a new one. That is why Christians do not get circumcised and commit animal sacrifices.

In Sora 18:27 it does not say that the word of God is corrupted, you dumbass. Read the complete verses, the verse literally says: "Recite what has been revealed to you from the Book of your Lord. There is no one who can change His words, and you will have no refuge apart from Him." It says that the word of God cannot be corrupted IN THE QURAN, not in the books not revealed to the prophet Muhammad PBUH. And if the translation implies corruption of the original meaning and taking into account that the oldest Bible on record is in Greek, it implies that where they come from, all later Bibles further corrupt an already corrupted version. So, keep coping.

Go back to the Greek. It says that Jesus is the only begotten son of God. No dispute.

An abomination is still going to take you to hell. It is still a sin. The covenant is what has changed. The wages and definition of sin have not. Before Jesus you had to repent and offer animal sacrifice. Now you have to repent and believe on the son of God.

In greek it's also corrupted lmao. Christians have no not corrupted source crazy if you think about it.

Cope

The Quran is a gross bastardization of God's truth.
How can be cope? Translation implies a change in meaning, the Bible was revealed in Aramaic and you are reading a corrupted version of an already corrupted translation. Basic logical linguistic philosophy n***a. Debunking Christianity part 500.

An the quran it's the uncorrupted word of Allah swt and his unique modern source after the word of Jesus PBUH. Keep coping boyo, and may you'll find the truth and save your soul.

Translation doesn't necessarily mean a change in meaning. In fact, most of the time it doesn't.

Whether it came from Aramaic or Greek (the original New testament was written in both of these languages in different parts, and Greek was never translated from Aramaic), the part about Jesus being the only begotten son of God was never lost in translation. Go back to the original, whether it be in Greek or Aramaic, and I guarantee you that's what it says.

I think you should stay locked up in ur house and stop having opinions and judging other people also you ignored everything I said. God would be disappointed with what you have done with his gift

Doesn’t cope with the fact that your a waste of a human life who is bringing the word of god and the world down

It's God's standard, not my judgement. You can make up your own false, celestial, Jesus that suits your itching ears and pretend that he's real but in the end you will meet the real Jesus. Nobody can escape that.

Have you read the word of God in its entirety? Or do you just pick and choose which scriptures you like so you can regurgitate them when arguing while ignoring the ones you don't?

You can support your buddies without partaking in their event.

Would your muslim friends do the same when you have to fast for lent (if you know what this is)? No.

I have been a follower of the bible ever since I was little despite living in a non religious environment

So its okay for Christians to look down upon others? Do you think thats what god wants? When you see a homeless person do you frown upon them? When you see a Jewish person do you view them with disgust?

Did I ever look down on anyone? I just relayed to you a message that Jesus gave. That you are committing sin by joining the Muslims in their fast for a false god. God said to come out and be separate from this world.

A man who has sex with other men will go to hell just the same as a man who has sex with a woman out of wedlock. The same as a person who lies or steals. The same as someone who worships a false god. I never said that people who do these things are beyond the chance to repent.

You aren't following the scripture if you're joining non believers in their devotion to a false god.
What point? I think respecting other people, being open minded and putting yourself in someone elses shoes will further the advancement of this wold
If you knew the scripture you would know where this world is going. God said not to love this world. He said to come out and be separate from it. It only goes on for the gathering of His elect.

1 John 2: 15 - 17

"Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.

For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.

And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever."

Exactly my point kinda. The argument of “false god” has lead our world to discrimination, literally falling of countries😭 and mass genocide. If you learned to love they neighbor, put yourself in someone elses shoes to understand their values and why they believe in that it would simply prevent the harm of innocents who just wish to pursue what is right to them. It may be sin but I have seen my muslim, jewish and hindu friends experience mass harassment, violence and hate crimes in my country. If you think god thinks that that is right and me trying to do something to help these people during a vulnerable state in this world makes me a non believer then I guess I am. If this is the world that truly god wishes to bring then I wish to abandon my faith and help those being targeted for their existence so they can stand their ground. No matter the religion, this is not the world I wish my children to be born into and if I will be deposed by my lord in trade for that then I am more than willing

Matthew 22:39 - well known verse

Hosea 13:16 - I actually remember reading this line when I was like 8 or 10? And I thought it was crude but beautiful.

Psalm 46:9 - “He makes wars cease to the ends of the earth. He breaks the bow and shatters the spear; he burns the shields with fire.”

AND Matthew 5:33-48 which translates to Christians are not permitted to kill or engage in war unless it is to rescue people

After a fraction of a second in hell I promise you'll change your mind.

Anyways, the reason these things you mentioned happen is because mankind is cursed. The ground we walk on is cursed as well as the animals. All flesh is cursed for our sake. People kill eachother over everything, not just religion. Stalin and his atheist regime murdered 50 million people. Another 55 million died under Mao's atheist regime.

God doesn't want us to discriminate against non believers or those who continue in sin. He wants us to relay the gospel to them. If they aren't willing to hear it we aren't supposed to hurt or insult them.

Is it loving to accept lies though? Do you even know what you're talking about when you say, "put yourself in someone else's shoes"? I mean it sounds great but what does it even mean?

Did I ever say we should kill anyone for their false belief? Killing someone is a pretty great leap from refusing to join them or wish them God speed.
