back story: i have mild exotropia (a type of lazy eye) on my left eye and it causes my eye to drift outwards.
my right eye turned out bigger looking because it uses more muscle and strains because its my stronger eye.
how it works:
- you figure out which is your stronger eye and which eye has lazy eye.
- put the patch on the stronger eye and train the weaker eye
- you can try by reading a book, doing eye exercises, even writing/studying. because your weaker eye has something to follow.
i do this daily. i started by only doing 20-40 minutes for first day to get my eye used to the feeling and then i started wearing it for 3-6 hours. and i just wear it and do whatever i need to do.
Since my weaker eye is being used more it allows my stronger eye to relax, which helps with my symmetry,
