Hindering it’s absorption
Fruits have fiber tho so it makes it more absorbable
Depending on the fruit ofc
However that’s why peaters megadose Vitamin C, so the excess sugar absorption doesn’t interfere. Even if someone eats a lil bit of fruit, or just enough to full absorption, tons of excess sugar from other crap will interfere, including sugar from just regular carbohydrate

So you need good amounts of fruit, adequate, or just take it in toxic supplement form. Or don’t peat theory, I don’t see the appeal of eating tons of sugar anyways

What's the mechanism behind it , I don't see how ascorbic acid and glucose can relate biochemically

They just compete with the absorption, lowering the effectiveness of vitamin C
