Articles I will be citing: main article listing benefits: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC4449949/ Article mentioning hair loss https://www.nih.gov/news-events/nih-research-matters/how-stress-causes-hair-loss
Study how stress affects aging: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC7400286/
Breath: https://www.implantdentalbellevue.com/blog/are-gum-and-mints-just-a-mask-for-bad-breath/
Weight: https://www.webmd.com/obesity/features/diet-myth-or-truth-chewing-gum-for-weight-loss
Now, this isn’t a guide telling new information. I’m sure most of you have heard half this shit already but it has benefits outside of other shit and can have long term direct benefits. I’m more so trying to convince you of the power this stuff can have.

Attention: Obviously this was one of the first things mentioned in the article. Chewing gum is cited to enhance alertness and sustain attention. Now, why is this a good thing? Well if you struggle with focus this will make you more likable especially to other people in your day to day life. Also for a real example in performance wise: baseball players often chew gum or sunflower seeds to increase focus on the field. (games are usually 3+ hours) Tldr: Increase NT capabilities+focus and performance on tasks

Aging: It is also cited (although self-reported (which means probably a chance of placebo but you tell me what you think) that people that chew gum are often less anxious and stressed out. Now there are a shit ton of reasons that would be good for looksmaxing/antiaging as stress is often linked with hairloss, aging, and overall looking worse.I am also confident that not a single person on this forum likes being stressed.TLDR: Delayed from the Norwood Reaper+less stress

Jawline: yeah it seems like placebo for the most part. Not any definite studies on it but I guess if you want to believe in it go for it. TLDR: cope, probably

Breath: I know this is a big fear for some of you, especially after certain life experiences (definitely relate) it seems like the most important thing to be conscious of almost. So while improving oral hygiene is more important, chewing gum is an easy temporary fix that will benefit you. Article cited at top states that it is more of a mask and temporary fix, it will still help. So if you combine good oral hygiene with guides from around here and common knowledge, you will have good smelling breath. While I know a good smelling breath isn't a substitute enough for good genetics, it may help you overcome that fear of smelling bad straight into someone's mouth while talking. This effect can indirectly boost your confidence because you will know that scent will be on point. TLDR: potential confidence + good smell

Weight: Ok this stuff isn’t gonna do anything on its own. You might have reduced hunger cravings and it may become easier to control yourself when eating, but you still are going to have to work to lose weight. TLDR: manage hunger (grain of salt)

All TLDRs combined for goldfish: managing hunger, good breath smell, slight confidence, less stress, more attention, better performance.

Also chewing gum too often can cause tension in your jaw so if you open your jaw it makes this sound of boned "cracking"

I chew gum and iv been a gum chewer for a long time

Also not sponsored but chew this if you want to get some actual none cope benefits. I get free gum so technically speaking that's the only benefit I get off this but it's actually the reason why I even get k2 and d3 in enough amounts in my diet as of this year and last. Also it helps it doesn't taste like ass like falim gum

You js made that shit up? I used to chew gum 10 hours a day and never had issues
idk might depend on the person,my cousin chewed gum everyday in school and got TDM,might not be related

I doubt it because there is no way chewing regular gum can break jaw. You would have to have a really weak jaw to begin with

Good thread but id suggest better formattimg with text size and images to lighten the read

do u believe the gum turned u into a chad or was the tren?
It definitely had a contribution to the robustness of my jaw as my jaw was sharp before but more glass like in the past. Now it's thicker. Outside the jawmuscles and obvious width that causes. my jawbone has girth to it. I used to feel my jaw in the past and it was thinner. Sharper yes. But way thinner. I bet if someone punched me in the jaw back then it would snap in too. Now I'm pretty certain I can take a few swings lol

That's the thing about chewing. You don't do it for the jaw muscles you do it for the thickening It causes. Then you make your jaw muscles smaller by jot chewing as much and do direct massages to shrink it and get that nice jaw gains
