hair flicking up question

i have a middle part and for the most part it looks fine till its full dry and the end of my hair flick up and it looks shit ive straightened my hair to se what itd look like it it looked nice but obviously if i keep straightening consistently ill damage my hair but i want the flicks to go away anyone got any ideas what to do?
