has anyone tried this diet? does it work?

You can eat whatever you want and how much of it you want, as long as you're in a calorie deficit, you'd still lose weight. If she's already lean it might mean she has more muscle mass and her BMR is just higher because of it. Eat at your maintenance or a little bit lower. Don't dramatically cut calories.

The foods listed itself are kind of insane. A pound of anything is kind of a lot.

what matters is the calorie deficit not the food content, if shes in a deficit she will lose weight
but she does need to eat a decent amount of calories, protein, and exercise, otherwise she will lose muscle mass too, which wont lead to good results

I agree. In the screenshots it looks like the person's goals were weight loss not muscle maintenance or gain, and so I assumed that was OP's goal as well.

Lowering your body fat % does not mean you need to lose overall weight. It's better to gain muscle and lose the body fat % than it is just trying to get skinnier overall.
 
Im gonna explain all the problems
1st black coffee is seed water that will dehydrate you and turn you into your grandmas ashes.Drink hydrating raw milk or blood.So in your case id eaither go with cold pressed organic raw fruit juices or raw milk ur not gonna drink blood jfl.
2nd fasting is absolute dogshit the 'Muh body is eating your bad cells' is wrong your body kills every cells when you are fasting and ur more like to be malnutritioned fasting is starving and starving is bad.You should wake up and get protein and fats in the morning.
3rd Working out when fasted ahahgahahah get a hold of this guy what are you trying to do world record for cortisol spike? ur body is already stressed and alert cause you consumed 0 food and THEN you are gonan workout ahahahahahaha dont ever do taht.Even working out itself is not good.Max 3 times per week.Your 'exercise' should be walks in nature
