Caloric deficit for months + low intensity cardio like 15k steps dailyHello. How can I burn fat fast (especially in my abdominal area) what kind of nutrition and diet should I follow? (I won't be able to go to the gym for a while)
calorie deficit (don't do an extreme calorie deficit, you'll lose muscle mass), high protein intake, and working out (gym and cardio)Hello. How can I burn fat fast (especially in my abdominal area) what kind of nutrition and diet should I follow? (I won't be able to go to the gym for a while)

Calorie deficit won’t work for everyone, cut out carbohydrates and go on a carnivore dietCaloric deficit for months + low intensity cardio like 15k steps daily
Maybe high volume abs training if you believe in topical fat spot reduction but it is working only with a caloric deficit
I would recommend simple carbs like fruits to fuel his workout tbhLift to fix ur metabolism
Eat high protein and healthy fats to keep you full
Complex carbs to fuel ur workout low to medium
Cardio to burn extra calories
Stay hydrated
More veggies and fruits = more carbs which equals more bloating and fat gain, go on a low carb diet and eat a lot of fat and protein so that u can lose body fat through ketosis, also counting calorie is pointless as it doesn’t apply to how we humans function, just eat less overallI'm not going to bore you with the science of it all, but it's impossible to lose weight (fat cells) without being in a calorie deficit. Attempting to do anything else without doing that first will be a waste of your time.
Increasing muscle is important if you want to lose it quickly. Lifting weights will help a lot. I understand you don't have access to a gym, therefore there's no world where you're going to burn it 'the fastest'. You can't get gym results if you don't have some type of gym equipment. With that being said, all you would in most cases is access to dumbbells. Your muscles will only grow if there's some time of resistance. Resistance bands might be a good introduction to your at-home situation but it's it's not going to be quick like dumbbells would be.
Cardio is fine but you will not lose actual weight quickly, just maybe your water retention at first. We're designed not to burn a lot of calories and energy via cardio. It's an evolutionary thing. You should do cardio because it'd help you with endurance which will help you with working out. Walking, running and biking are the quickest ways to burn calories and they're the best for your heart overall, if I remember correctly.
You should just do a good balanced diet no matter what. Your diet will effect everything else about you. Eat less calorie-dense items. Eat more veggies and fruits throughout the day to fill more full between meals. Drink more water. Reduce heavily or quit out everything else besides your primary caffeine source. You can take caffeine pills if you depend on caffeine heavily, and they're zero calories.
You can not pick a spot on your body and decide to lose weight there. It's kind of out of our control outside of lipo. The best thing you can do is do a bunch of ab exercises to build muscle there and then just decrease your overall body fat %.
No, carbs does not automatically equal to more bloating. Just don't eat a shit ton of fiber to avoid bloating. Snacking on fruit and veggies is not going to automatically lead to bloating unless you eat a lot of it (which is not what snacking is).More veggies and fruits = more carbs which equals more bloating and fat gain, go on a low carb diet and eat a lot of fat and protein so that u can lose body fat through ketosis, also counting calorie is pointless as it doesn’t apply to how we humans function, just eat less overall
So what should I do when I have sugar cravings? Cinnamon is recommended, does it work? No, carbs does not automatically equal to more bloating. Just don't eat a shit ton of fiber to avoid bloating. Calorie counting is not pointless, it's a science and it's why it's on every food packaging. It's impossible to lose weight without a calorie deficit and it's easier to add up calories daily than it is to keep track of carb count. In my opinion.
He's technically correct though that triggering ketosis might be a good idea in your case. But it's not realistic for a majority of people due to how much carbs are in everything we eat and how the yummy stuff we eat is higher in carbs. It's easier to reduce calorie intake than carb intake.
If you track calories, you can have sugar. That's why I'm suggesting you track calories instead of carbs. So what should I do when I have sugar cravings? Cinnamon is recommended, does it work?
Carbs will trigger gluconeogenesis which means that the stored glycogen will be converted into glucose for energy instead of fat. Ketones are a much efficient energy source which are derived from fat cells. If glucose is primarily used for energy, then the stored fat cells are not used and hence u don’t burn any fat and the energy u get from gluconeogenesis is inefficient. No, carbs does not automatically equal to more bloating. It appears you are either mistaken, misinformed or misspoke. That's not what glucogenesis is or how it works. I can explain in depth in the morning if you wish.Carbs will trigger gluconeogenesis which means that the stored glycogen will be converted into glucose for energy instead of fat. Calorie counting is pointless because the science is flawed, the FDA accounts for 20-40% error in calorie counting. Also calorie is a unit of heat, we cannot eat heat energy but mass. Also we don’t combust our foods, for example “our phones contain 2000 cal which means when we combust our phone we get 2000 cal worth of heat energy”, we biochemically process our food, not combust them. Also calories are measured in a closed thermodynamic system via caloriemeterbomb, we are open thermodynamic system so it doesn’t make any sense.
Yes you are right Abt the fiber part, yes it might not be realistic, so? You have to make efforts in order to lose weight efficiently
Feel free to explain if u wantIt appears you are either mistaken, misinformed or misspoke. That's not what glucogenesis is or how it works. I can explain in depth in the morning if you wish.
Sorry yea, lmao, I misspokedIt appears you are either mistaken, misinformed or misspoke. That's not what glucogenesis is or how it works. I can explain in depth in the morning if you wish.

I'm not going to correct the glucogenesis comment counting you admit it was an error, but in regards of everything else: I agree ketosis is more effective in most cases, which is why I agreed with you originally. I'm not sure if there's a misunderstanding, but I didn't disagree with her trying out ketosis. I just think carbs are harder to cut out then overall calories in most westerner's diets. I don't think that's an unfounded opinion to have.Carbs will trigger gluconeogenesis which means that the stored glycogen will be converted into glucose for energy instead of fat. Your arguments are valid, I haven’t seen many studies debunk counting calories, but I just think that this metric is highly flawed though, also in my experience, it didn’t work, maybe experiment with things I guess. Well you can lose weight without counting calories though, when u cut out carbs but eat more fat and meat, u will feel fuller, satisfied and lose weight through ketosis, you say that it is hard to cut out carbs in the western diet, I disagree, me being an Indian, our diet consists of about 90% carbs and no fat and protein, I made and effort and completely changed my diet. If I can, then anyone can change their diet to make it more efficientI'm not going to correct the glucogenesis comment counting you admit it was an error, but in regards of everything else: I agree ketosis is more effective in most cases, which is why I agreed with you originally. Everything you said about calorie science is technically true, but I don't understand the conclusion that you shouldn't use it as an aid in weight loss. It's quite literally the #1 way we determine weight loss. You personally making the choice to not use calories makes sense, but I don't know why you would recommend others not to when the science obviously backs up calorie counting for weight loss. The science, evidence and research backs up calorie counting. I'm arguing a discussion of evidence vs personal choice, and in both cases I think they're both valid choices.
