Im dating this guy right now and hes my dream boyfriend but sometimes he gets kinda dry and seems upset when I don't immediately respond but its not the same way the other way around, like sometimes he matches my energy and sometimes he seems bored idk.. also he's online but most of my boyfriends have been online I've had three irl ones and the first one I only hung out with at one period every other day in school that was a short class..

The biggest thing is consistency. Anyone can seem perfect for a few weeks, but a genuine guy is consistently kind, keeps his word, respects your boundaries, and makes an effort even when it’s inconvenient. Don’t overanalyze things like him being online or having dry texting days pay more attention to how he treats you over time. If he only puts in effort when it benefits him or makes you feel like you’re constantly chasing his attention, that’s a bigger red flag than inconsistent texting
