i don’t go out a lot, and even when i do i’m always with my parents. i go to an all-girls school, i don’t post on social media, and my accounts are private, so i basically have no interaction with dudes
i thought it was normal to not talk to men or to have never had a bf, but i’ve realized every other girl my age has some experience with boys
honestly, i feel so embarrassed when my classmates ask me if i’m talking to anyone and my answer has always been no
although i had like one online talking stage two years ago and that’s it. icl i fumbled back then and he told me i was dry even though i genuinely thought i was being nice?

if you dont go to school with them i would suggest to not even bother. thats going out of your way to talk to people that will only bring you stress that you dont need
are u kidding?

do u think getting a boyfriend/talking to guys is a bad thing?

jk but dont force it by going on dating apps and such, it never works out. if you’re a teen then its no big deal i would only be worried if you were in like your thirties
Yeah im 16
tbh i dont really mind being single
Its just annoying when other people ask me why im not with anyone

heyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy

if youre in school and youre going out of your way to find boys who arent just naturally around and trying to form relationships with them, then yes, i think its added stress onto a students life for no reason. dating in high school is not ideal, especially when they dont go to your school. its usually always a distractor and stressor. this person said herself that she doesnt even mind being single.

its not a co-ed school, so its not like she would develop a crush in school and didnt have the courage to talk to him. it would be all of this extra effort for little reward or longevity. i would say the same to a male if they made this post

fair enough

i guess i got lucky with teen relationships so i might have a different perspective to you (not saying you didnt necessarily but im just saying i had a very positive experience which shaped my views)

@Koloocheh you're 16yo you don't miss anything, especially if you don't want to have a bf for now, don't fold for the peer pressure of dating men to not get judged by other girls.

If you have to get a bf, it will be one you are truly attracted to and developp a bond with him.

oh i do believe that its possible for a high school relationship to create good. there are many lessons to learn about how to treat yourself and others. 🐧
