Recently, I've noticed that my left side seems to be less bloated than my right side of face.

Key info here is that I always find myself my waking up in a sleeping on my left side although I usually fall asleep upright.

I was curious what would happen if I tried sleeping on my right side and so I did just that.

I woke up still on my right side but with a massive headache and an aching sinus. The pain was just above the nose bridge so I'm assuming its my sinuses.

Never again sleeping sideways. That said I'm curious, does sleeping postures play a big role in looks / health?

I've heard somewhere that it causes asymmetries.

I don’t think it’s less bloated unless one side is swollen from something like an accident or some infection

The bloated side is probably just slightly weaker thus having less bone to stretch the fat

all side sleeping does is make one eye less open than the other, and shift your water retention to one side of your face

it doesnt actually make you asymmetrical if you were lean
