For friendship too,
do you admire them the same, see the good qualities

or feel blinded by any relationship/friendship you had and feel like they were completely different than you thought

I think it’s situational

I think when someone chooses to move away from you, there will always be some kind of disdain and you can't help it

i guess we'll never know, my gf and i are never breaking up trust,
on everyones life

Wouldn’t that just depend entirely on how and what caused it to end?

yeah i think you'd be bitter at first and maybe later get over it and be able to see the good things

It’s good to not hold on to active hatred yeah, and like taking the good out of the situation and accepting it so you don’t dwell on it. Wouldn’t call it love though more like appreciation. It’s the mature way and it’s much more indicative of real love if someone can do that because they’re putting the other person’s wellbeing over themselves rather than being vengeful and that’s what love is about

Kill kill kill die

Sometimes distance makes you realize you overlooked red flags because you cared about them but other times you appreciate the good parts of the relationship more once the emotions settle. Most people aren’t completely different than you thought they’re usually a mix of qualities you noticed and qualities you ignored
