Greetings, boyos
We all know that humans always strive to connect. Human nature is a community based nature however as time passes and innovation happens, the people at the top stay intelligent and the victims of the winners in the world stay mediocre. The mediocre form groups together just to stay mediocre.

Trying to survive in this world as someone who doesn’t feed into normie bullshit is like hell for your Nervous system. Fake people left and right, and you might be asking yourself should i isolate or should i keep on being overly social..

Key point: modern people will always try to become mediocre. Humans are influenced easily. Therefore you’ll be influenced into mediocrity

The intellects of the world spent their time in great isolation. E.g Isaac newton spending long periods of time locked up in his room, and even Descartes during the creation of the cogito. Do you think that these individuals would have been who they were without isolation? I don’t think so.

THE MECHANISM

in modern day social environments,
the brain is continuously monitoring:

  • facial expressions
  • Social expectations
  • Judgment
  • Language
  • Noise
  • Movement/body language
The nervous system is in a negative mode.

Alone time removes much of the input, so the result is:

  • lower sympathetic nervous system activity or fight or flight response
  • An increase of parasympathetic activity or rest or digest mode
  • Slower breathing
  • Less muscle tension
  • Lower cortisol and adrenaline (insert Goatis picture)
And in turn creates:

  • calmness
  • Emotional stability
  • Physical relaxation
  • Mental quiet
So the brain and exits the “masking mode”

THE ACTIVATION OF THE DMN (default mode network)

When demands decreases externally, the brain will shift into DMN, which implies:

  • imagination
  • Creativity
  • Autobiographical thinking
  • Future planning
DMN is active more during quiet rest, sensory reduction, and solitude.

The benefits of this is DEEPER SELF UNDERSTANDING, EMOTIONAL PROCESSING, and IMPROVED LONG RANGE PLANNING.

EMOTIONAL PROCESSING AND INTEGRATION

When in moments of constant social stimulation, emotions are often suppressed or even postponed.

Isolation makes space for processing those emotions.

The brain can:

  • process unresolved feelings
  • Organize memories
  • Refuse emotional overload
Which in turn:

  • improves emotional intelligence
  • Stress tolerance
  • Self awareness
people become less emotionally reactive because the nerves system these processing cycles

MY PERSONAL ANECDOTES

Man always seek truth, to properly seek truth you need to properly think and to properly isolate.

Isolation for me feels like pure euphoria. There’s no shitty low iq person disturbing me from reaching my goals. During periods of isolation i had more time to focus on my studies which in turn improved my grades and intelligence.

Bookmarked… Jim Carrey once said something along the lines of if you’re not willing to enjoy life a little bit less for a short period of time in order to be happy for the rest of your life, you care too much about what others think

the benefits out weigh the negatives if your high iq. If your average iq there’s not as much benefit but it’s still good. You should try having 15 minutes of alone time with no sensory input and it should work the same !

psst... hello....
