I have braces since 2 years and needed elastics and still have them because they’re correcting my overbite

They told me the elastics are only for closing the spaces between my teeth and won’t change anything about my side profile

I still wouldn’t hve risked it, elastics put a ton of pressure on the maxilla

If they just wanted to close the gaps they could’ve done palate expansion/sarpe
