5ARD = type 2 5AR deficiency which is NOT deficiency in type 1, the type that is expressed in bone
Bone still creates and uses androgens locally so your argument about no circulating serum dht is also bunk because it doesnt consider localized dht

No, 5AR type 1 is clearly expressed in bone. Type 2 is the that is undetectable in bone

5AR type 1 is present in bone tissue, testosterone enters the bone microenvironment, that type 1 enzyme converts testosterone to DHT, then the DHT binds to the androgen receptor at 2-3x stronger than testosterone promoting osteoblast proliferation

I'm no expert but the aromatase enzyme is expressed on your growth plates, meaning if an androgen traveling your blood stream ends up at your growth plates the enzyme would convert the androgen into an estrogen directly on your growth plates

And we all know that's not a good thing. So even when systematic e2 is low local aromatization can still exist

No, it will reduce circulating estradiol levels and also reduces bone aromatase, which may cause you to believe it’s stopping testosterone from converting to e2 locally, but even with an ai while pinning supraphysiological levels of test, effects will still happen due to the sheer amount of test

AR signaling in periosteal osteoblasts are dynamic and can be occupied by both DHT and testosterone
