One thing we struggle with, when dieting, is the constant hunger and unsatisfaction we have to endure. Yes, for a week or so we can soldier through hunger pangs in order to keep to our macros+calories. But there comes a time where our willpower breaks down and we end up cheating. Or as @NickGurr said in his thread you continue to feel like utter shit and have shitty sleep and so forth.
There is a simple tip to be satisfied and prevent feeling hungry on a diet. Eat a lot of food with very low calorie density. These include leafy veg, mushrooms, spinach, cauliflower, onions etc
Eat these alongside your red meats, poultry, fish etc or whatever meat you eat
Snack on stuff like pickles which are tasty (imo) and have virtually no calories
Use egg white instead of whole eggs if you must.
For sweet cravings use artificial sweeteners in your teas and coffees.
And once in a while drink zero calorie energy drinks such as monster ultra.
Some berries such as blueberries and raspberries don't have many calories, strawberries are the best with only 30kcal per 100g
Use almond milk instead of cows milk
The list is endless.
This thread may be obvious to most people, but a lot seem to think you have to suffer in order to get very lean and that is far from the truth.
I'll just leave this vid here. Its rudimentary but also informative and explains what I said.
Tldr: eat lots of food with low kcal density
