How to Post Proper Pictures for Rating

HOW TO POST PROPER PICTURES

A lot of people have issues with posting bad pictures in the rating section, so this is a guide on how to do it correctly.​

Front Facing:

The picture should be at neutral position, when the camera is at eye level and you should be facing straight. Have sharp focus and do full face.

It's ideal to post pics without expressions, but you can include pics with smiles.

Post pics without frauding i.e: squinting, makeup, weird angles , abnormal lighting , sucking cheeks , pouting , jaw jutting , filter , editing , etc.
People can tell if u are doing anything from above.


Angles:

Angle should be neutral, your head shouldn't be falling backward or forward or sideways.

Angles like these are unhelpful and unrateable:

Side Profile:

Try to include side profile pics, they can help people greatly who try to evaluate your looks.
Have good posture when you do it.
Side profile should be posted as close it can be to Frankfurt plane which is this:

Another thing to keep in mind is lens distortion.

It ruins your pics without u even realizing, one of the main things that makes you look bad in photos.
This gif shows the reality of lens distortion it goes from high to low lens distortion:

Technically, it would be ideal to take pics from a professional but not everyone has it, so take pics from far keep phone at least 4-8 feet away from your face.

Lighting should be normal, preferably natural and consistent. Avoid harsh lighting or dark shadowy pictures.

You can set up your phone far away and have a timer for the pictures so that you can avoid shaky blurry pictures and lens distortion.
