So what i do is weighted neck curls 3x12-15 twice a week, i superset them with bench press on my push day, cuz im allready laying on a bench and like long rests for command movement so it fits in easy. This is for the front of my neck.
To do these grab a plate, put a towl folded up on it and between your forehead and let your head and neck hang off the end of the bench, then simply crunch your neck forward, until your chin nearly touches your chest. Also hold onto the plate obv, just dont let your hands takeover.

That is all i do, its worked for me.
However there are 2 side muscles in your neck i forgor what they are called, you can train those too, i dont because its annoying and i beleive they will not be noticeable even when trained. I know it seems weird, but training the front of your neck will lead to more thickness. Happy to find a "study" on this i read a while ago if you really want, just cbf rn.
If you want to train your side muscles you will most likely need a neck training device you can attach to a cable stack like this

I have not tried this and would do alot of research before getting one, it could be quite dangerous.
You can also use resistance bands, it may lead to a bit of growth, but hard to do long term, becouse hard to progressive overload, little stabiltiy.

But i really dont think training the side of your neck is worth it for most people, i know boxers and f1 drivers do but thats to build strength. And while they do have thick necks its probably due to training the front.
