But there are 2 states in which they are racially pure being Bahia which is largely African and South Brazil which is European that’s where Gisele Bündchen is from

Tho Brazil wasn’t really like the US in terms of making interracial marriages illegal so most are mixed the US will be similar to Brazil soon since it just recently made interracial marriages legal in the 60s I think

I would say they are very proud black and similar to American blacks very critical of European looking people

I’d say the difference they have from other Brazilian black ppl is they are more in touch with African culture they maintain African traditions and religion whilst most other Afro Brazilians are just Christian with no idea of anything from Africa
