my mental health is declining scarily fast, especially the few days were tuff nglWhy?
it's hard, i need to stay at my homecity to get therapy and I don't want that either, I want to travel and I think online therapy will be cringetry it if u want
I'm considering it too, would never take joopills though
Yeah, the way insurance works is fucked. I'm finally moving back home from uni in a few weeks so I gotta shift over my insurance tooit's hard, i need to stay at my homecity to get therapy and I don't want that either, I want to travel and
yepI think online therapy will be cringe

in my case it's not really about insurance, i can pay the therapy from my own pockets too, but I switch my country every few weeks and travel around, switching therapists every country or city makes no senseYeah, the way insurance works is fucked. If you do choose to do online never admit to travelling, most therapists are only licensed to work for patients in their own country or state, i admitted to being abroad once and she couldnt treat me until i got backit's hard, i need to stay at my homecity to get therapy and I don't want that either, I want to travel and I think online therapy will be cringe
good to know, thank you a lot i would have probably just told them lol but the traveling is a big stress trigger for me too tbh but i'll leave it out IF i get online therapyIf you do choose to do online never admit to travelling, most therapists are only licensed to work for patients in their own country or state, i admitted to being abroad once and she couldnt treat me until i got back
what for tuber, sometimes therapy can be useful, u have to make sure u click well with the therapistor it is over guys
true but im still doing it because id like to be better, best case scenario is to be completely honest (minus things that would get you sent to a mental hospital like intent to hurt yourself or others), i chose to be honest and my therapist told me she's referring me to IOP because shes unqualified and thinks i need a higher level of caretherapy never helped me much
i looked it up and it kinda makes sense, I'll maybe try it later when I'm longer home because traveling and therapy is kinda hard tbhTherapy can be helpful to a lot of people. You should look into EMDR. Sounds like it's crazy junk science, but everyone I've ever known to get it done says it's changed their lives. It would require an in-person session, though. I want to get it done, but haven't yet.
I do therapy, and have for years, but I can't tell if it really helps me even with a good therapist. I don't think there's many downsides unless you get like an absolutely fucked therapist, and there's a lot of fucked up ones out there ngl.

I go to therapy and my therapist out right say's that the emotions i feel can't be fixed only accepted and learned how to be dealt with.true but im still doing it because id like to be better, best case scenario is to be completely honest (minus things that would get you sent to a mental hospital like intent to hurt yourself or others), i chose to be honest and my therapist told me she's referring me to IOP because shes unqualified and thinks i need a higher level of care
