People especially greys just spam “boost test” cope cope yadayada. If they actually would give a fuck om how to optimize hormones you must understand how important T3 is in converting cholesterol and LH into pregnelone,the pro hormone of all hormones. Also being low thyroid can mean lower IGF-1 and the most water fact is decreased lipolysis. I suggest before you look into any other aspect that you’d start with optimizing thyroid hormones before anything else. Don’t go on a low carb diet that’s very stupid and decreases baseline T3 levels by mostly decreasing TSH and glucose is a metabolite in converting T4 into T3.

Coconut oil is great for thyroid health,I don’t understand the exact mechanism but Ray peat recommended it and it definitely worked for me.

Ray peat once said that he ate a pint of ice cream a day,his weight didn’t change but when he added an ounce of coconut oil to it he lost weight. And coconut oil with ice cream is very nice!

It raises LDL cholesterol tho, and the studies abt thyroid health and coconut oil suggest that it reduces oxidative stress in thyroid tissue in animals compared to polyunsaturated oils. Its 50/50 imo

Oh nice! You shouldn’t have problems with your LDL if you get enough sunlight because it is for real better than some statins since the UVB rays target 7-dehydrocholesterol under the skin generally minimizing excess LDL.

Idk about that, but i choose to stay safe with LDL cuz Bulgaria has the highest cardio-vascular problems induced deaths in europe, but i see where ray peat is coming from, coconut oil would be basically an anti oxidant in the thryoid tissue

Currently it dosen’t matter since tren disrupts the conversion of T4 into T3 so I supplement T3. But off cycle generally maintaining my weight wasn’t hard even on a lean bulk,also just less lethargic and also other plethora or things.
