This morning a ~20yo girl reached me to buy a Samsung Z fold (jfl) 512go who costs around 2100€, and during our convo she told me she took a loan at the bank for it because she couldn't afford.

Wdym sis then buy an other Samsung phone i run a Galaxy A12 since 2021 (220€ btw) and it's fine.

Imagine buying something expensive who'll lose value overtime anyways, who will do the same job than a cheaper one holy

Idk how it's called in english but here it's called "crédit à la consomation" meaning banks give you a loan if you obviously can refund it monthly, and you buy whatever you want

Speaking of people making questionable financial choices for tech upgrades, if anyone ever finds themselves in a tight spot and actually needs a quick, transparent cash bridge up to $500 for a real emergency without dealing with traditional bank delays or predatory debt traps, I usually check out Vertex Lend for a straightforward online application, instant approval, and fast fund transfers.

Taking out a loan for a €2,100 phone definitely wouldn't be my choice either, especially for something that depreciates so quickly. If the monthly payment stretches the budget, it's probably better to buy a mid-range model and upgrade later if needed.
