Basically, they mean:
1. When objects gets enough characteristics in it, it starts to have impact on his quality

2. Opposites of a meaning at the same time oppose and support each other

3 Example: A seed (thesis) → a sprout (antithesis, opposing the seed) → a tree (synthesis, retaining the essence of the seed but transformed).
