tbh i love the way a tan looks on almossstt anyone. for me, there’s something about a sun-kissed tone that just makes skin look more alive and makes features stand out both in photos and in person. and to be quite honest, i think that there's a chance it could make my face and body look better.
with that said, i’m debating whether it’s worth putting effort into getting a tan myself this year. i want the aesthetic boost now, but i’m also worried about long-term skin damage like wrinkles, sun spots, premature aging, etc. i’m honestly scared that tanning on purpose might actually ruin my features over time instead of enhancing them. that’s why i’m wondering how much using spf really helps, like does it actually prevent damage while still letting you tan, or is any intentional sun exposure still risky?
so from a looksmaxxing perspective (and not just my personal preference), does tanning actually make a noticeable difference in beauty, or does a natural pale skin tone look just as good? it’s just gonna fade when it gets cold again, but will it be worth it? do yall think it really helps features stand out, make skin look healthier, or is it just gonna ruin any potential i have?
i’m lowkey torn because i want to be improving myself and looking my best, but i also don’t want sun exposure to cause skin damage that will actually make me look worse over time. also sorry for rambling a bit..
