Back when I was 9 years old I was already struggling with acne. My parents got worried about my social status and started buying me face cleansers and other skin care products when I turned 10.
I’ve used skincare till I was 14 years old and have noticed some kind of difference, but the acne was never fully gone.
Ever since I was 11 I found out about isotretinoin and begged my parents for it all the time. They got so annoyed but my mom, especially, was extremely skeptical about it since she read the WHOLE side effects list and didn’t want me to hop on it.
When I was 14 I was able to get my hands on it and I was never happier, until I got the side effects. First constant headaches, developed low iron, constant sunburns, insomnia, adjustment issues and depression. I’ve tried to kms because of all the side effects that I was getting, but that didn’t go as planned.
Nethertheless I’m happy that I hopped on isotret, do not regret it at all, even tho I had all these side effects.
