What is the difference, and is there any reason that you should go for implants rather than new bone structure formation?

bimax is more useful to fix your base and then add implants IF necessary

Jaw implants can't fix maxillomandibular retrusion and a Lefort 1 can't change the dimensions of the mandibular border (jawline), they are two separate procedures with completely different purposes and I don't understand how anyone could conclude that they are similar in any way or get them mixed up.

Thanks for the concise explanation, it makes sense now. What would you recommend for jaw asymmetry? From the front it looks fine, but one side my profile is good and the other I look recessed :(. Also deeper nasolabial fold on one side.
