Hypothesis Looksmaxxing in niche groups

Theoretically if u looksmax andd u are in a part of a niche group for example, alternative looks, wont u have much more success? like since there are less people the base/average goes down, so u can look the same but be rate higher in that sense? also if u have a goo style ur SMV in that particular group increases even more, because now it plays a bigger part on the dating market since its a niche, which cares particularly abt it. Thoughts?
