Mastic gum breaks down

Hey does anyone else have the same problem?

I chew for about an hour a day, after 2-3 one hour sessions it breaks down into a powder so I have to spit it out and get another 3-4 pieces.

Idk i chew regular gum cant convince parents to buy mastic
