I just looked into my library and found some I'd like to share, The Midnight Library by Matt Haig, The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho, Siddhartha by Hermann Hesse. I especially like the midnight library because i envision myself in that exact scenario again and again wondering what different versions of myself are doing.

"im crying bro she just sent me a long ass 50 paragraph rant about how lesbianphobic is a problem im just gonna dnr bro like genuinely what the fuck"

funniest possible ending to your thread bro im gen crying

i'm sorry all that shit happened to you. i think you shouldv'e stopped talking to her as soon as you realized she didn't even care to (pretend to!) read about your life. still i understand that you liked her then and ig it was a lesson to be learned

a good rule of thumb is to mirror the amount of effort the other person is putting in. if someone replies 'cool' to you pouring your heart out, then next time do that yourelf or better yet, leave them on delivered.

i rlly dont think you should go after this girl anymore. focus on ascending and keep another crush as a secondary goal.

she also told me her fake ass friends stopped talking to her again and yeah I'm beginning to see why

Need it say more?

The worst people are ones that insult people’s appearances
If you dont like someone then surely there should be things about their personality you can insult rather than things they have no control over
It’s even worse if you dont dislike them, then you’re just going after their appearance because you’re cruel
You have no need for such people in your life
It’s only okay in looksmaxxing forums cause people *want* you to point out their flaws

there’s true beauty as well but that’s makeupmaxxing
lookism is basically the plot tho

For media Helter skelter and girl interrupted. Girl interrupted isn’t exactly about looks but it made me realize you can be mentally ill and people will still like you as long as you look good. Im autistic so it’d help

For irl experiences it’s mainly my bitch mother always saying some shit about my appearance, i know she’d love me if i looked the way she wants

Also i just wanna be perfect in every aspect of life

me and my friend are such big fans of True Beauty!! I stayed up until 4 reading those endless boring ahh flat art-having episodes on webtoon. the kdrama was much more entertaining tho but they still managed to mess up the message behind everything sigh

agreed
the show is really cute but they sort of dissolved the whole point esp at the end

alr then tell me the things from One Piece that motivated you
Alright so basically one of the main themes in one piece is Dreams. Dreams is what fuels the world, we would have no advancements in any field if it were not for dreams. Dreams to invent, dreams to make a change, or in the questions sake dreams to better yourself. One of the highest peaks in op is Blackbeard telling luffy that “A person’s dream will never die” this is a quote that all should live by. Never give up on your dreams, for your dream is out there. As in the next arc after the quote we see luffy discover the sky islands. A dream set by Nolan’s descendants that seem to be impossible. But luffy found it, this further proves blackbeards quote as for 300 years the island was made out to be a myth, but in all it wasn’t. No dream is too far out of reach. And many give up before they can find it.

TLDR: dreams make the world and they make us

Luffy also is my top 1 in fiction not only for his writing but for the personal impact he has had on my life

nicee i'll check these out.

sorry to hear abt your mom. im pretty sure if 'she'd love you if you looked the way she wants' is true then she has her own deep-rooted issues to deal with. dont take her insults seriously. ascend for yourself only and leave them all behind.

my id is gangnam beauty (webtoon) is like true beauty + the message so it's infinitely better imo. the only downside is the art isn't as pretty, but still very cutesy and funny!
