Something very hard to hear yes men are the reason hypergamy exists.
I went to the a club with my friends and one of them is really good looking probably lcl (not overexaggerating) and he started by approaching girls slaying 10 of them that night. Clearly men usually intend to be or do something with a girl that is below their league which instantly tells girls that "they can do better" and now if a guy approaches a girl that only slightly under her league she will reject him or make fun of him most of the times.
