MICRONEEDLING
How it works
Microneedling works by creating a lot of small wounds in the skin, triggering growth factors and collagen/elastin synthesis. This is why microneeding can also increase hair growth by promoting hair growth factors.
What you need
You need a microneedling pen that penetrates up to 2.5mm. Most microneedling pens only go up to 0.25mm, which is not enough.
First of all
Wash your hands and wipe your face.
(Do not skip this )
Apply numbing cream
Apply the numbing cream liberally to your face. This is very important. Wait at least 30-60 minutes after applying the numbing cream before performing the procedure. Your skin should feel very numb after. After you're numb, wipe remaining cream off of the skin.
Prepare microneedling pen
Put a new cartridge into the pen and set the speed and depth at the following depths for different regions:
Microneedle
Using the depths and speeds from before, microneedle on every square surface of the skin. Use the wipes to wipe any blood and prevent infection.As an example is the picture that I put down under.
Hyaluronic Acid
Immediately after the procedure, applying hyaluronic acid will mitigate transepidermal water loss and support the rebuilding of your skin barrier. Wash your face before applying this.
