Mirror has fooled me again! Was thinking my face got leaner, was seeing some bone mass, then took my phone and bang....instantly humbled!

camera makes everyone descend hard unless you have near perfect symmetry. Your bonemass hasn't changed, you're just not used to seeing your face inverted

I am not bothered by symmetry. I have mentioned it earlier. And this is on selfie mode so it doesn t even change the sides of the face

a phone camera won't change your bone structure jfl. Maybe fuck up your ratios due to distortion, but your bones wont change

Yeah idk...imo it doesn t look the same in the mirror. Like I look boneless in pics but mirror shows some bone. Might be more related to shadows and contrast or stuff like that idk. The lighting is also technically the same so I don t know why my samsung won t capture the exact same thing

It is just that I was thinking about getting a lower rate all because of camera and stuff like that but then I fear...what if someone perceives camera and irl me the same? Or even lower?
It is somehow sad that I can't rely on irl experiences for an accurate rating or on interactions with "normal" people
