there is the hyoid and speech controller hiding in the neck, superior belly of omohyoid muscle. does this have any affect on the mid face? the maxilla (teal) does not extend past the condyle of the mandible at all, and any tension from the hyoid would translate into hypertrophy of the systems connected to the mandible. (also, delaying mandible lateral growth because the masseter takes up the work). sbom exercises have no real affect on forcing the maxilla up, despite before and after photos that "use" sboms with other methods.

i dont think it has any meaningful effect considering masseters and the neck muscles cancel most of eachothers work out

and people extend it as far and creating a whole new cm on the bottom of the maxilla 😂 theories theories

lmao muscles dont influence facial bone growth, at least not in the way people think. not to mention the fact that it would make the maxilla grow LESS forward rather than downwards because of how the muscles are connected

the theory is that the "force/energy" from sbom exercising will move the maxilla up which has not a single molecule of evidence
