Other parents are strict af. Maybe my parents could have failed as parents.

My dad has never slapped me in my lifetime. He only slapped me once in childhood when I did something seriously dangerous thing which could have injured me badly.

My mom used to slap me rarely in childhood. I used to get scolded sometimes. Other parents shout at their kids in front of everybody. My parents even allowed me to play PC games during exams time.

I feel scared when I see other parents. No doubt I wasn't a bright student at school. The parents of my parents were strict af. I am the prime example of what soft parenting does to a person.

If I ever become a parent, I would be strict as hell.

Environment is the root cause of how a child grows up as an adult. The environment is how I was raised.

When I got bad marks in 10th grade, my mum told relatives that they (mum and dad) are not great parents.

My cousin is a top tier person working as an office head in London. He did his schooling from the same city I am living. His genetics are similar to me through his mom and my dad. He is my dad's sister's son.

Had I worked really hard in my teens and early 20s, I wouldn't have been living in this shithole country.
